Effects of Sugammadex in General Anesthesia of Patient with Myasthenia Gravis : Case Report

Abstract
Myasthenia Gravis is a disease that antibodies bind to acetylcholine receptors and interfere the neuromuscular transmission. In this disease, the use of muscle relaxants can cause abnormal reaction such as prolonged muscle relaxation and respiratory failure after surgery. A 43-year-old woman who was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, underwent thymectomy. We experienced early weaning through rapid muscle relaxation recovery using Rocuronium and Sugammadex. therefore, we report this case with the following literature review.
